NORTH GREECE HEADQUARTERS, ADMINISTRATION AND COMMERCIAL BUILDING 1994-1999
CLIENT: LION HELLAS S.A. - PEUGEOT OFFICIAL CAR DEALER FOR GREECE

The new buildings for the Lion Hellas headquarters are located on a site with an area of 11,910 m2 on the Nea Diagonios Avenue in the SE part of the city, 2.5 km. from the centre of Thessaloniki.
The facilities house a car showroom, the company's administrative offices, workshops (electrical repairs, fitting shop, body shop, paint shop, car wash, dewaxing unit, main stores depot serving the North Greece area. The facilities also include a network of service roads, loading and unloading yards and car-parks for visitors and staff.
 The main complex constitutes an original and contemporary architectural proposition with the following features:

  • Distinct masses which successfully and clearly project the independent functions they contain.

  • The large curving span of the main elevations, which maximises the accentuation of the building in its location.

  • The high quality of construction, designed so as to accentuate the quality of the product and the services it provides.

  • A response to the demands for good working conditions and high safety levels in an ultra-modern building.  Floor space of the indoor areas: ground floor 1,640 m2, basement 1,718 m2.
