The project concerns a large indoor sports hall with a capacity of 15.000 seats, a training Balkan centre and a congress centre The sports hall has a sports area, areas for the athletes including field and track coaching areas, areas for games, weight-lifting, boxing, etc., as well as all the necessary supporting facilities (all of which are of Olympic Games standards) for the events, and a 1.000-seat congress centre.
The proposed study tries to preserve the existing virtues and balances of the landscape in every possible way, achieving the best adaptation of the buildings and the landscaping to the natural and built environment, and introducing certain innovations (like the application of the movable level), which are believed to solve serious problems connected with the use of the sports hall for both field and track events and games.
