The small island of KYRA, between the island of Aegina and the coast of Epidaurus, with a total surface of about 100 ha is rocky, with steep slopes; today it is not inhabited.
In the initial phase, the study focuses on the features of the area, so as to locate the spots that would be appropriate for placing and developing the facilities of a luxury hotel unit.
The suggested tourist complex includes a unit of 150-200 suites, 50-100 high-standard villas, a sea-therapy centre, restaurants, bars, recreation centres, a reception area, shops, a marina for 20 yachts, open-air recreation and sports areas, supporting facilities and staff residences.
The study was completed with the preparation of a building programme, a preliminary proposal for the master plan and the typology and preliminary design of the hotel unit apartments.
